This December and into January, has been unusually mild where we are in NW Ontario, with no snow until last week. We’re getting about 6-7″ now, and extremely cold temperatures doming this weekend. The US Eastern Seabord and into Southern Ontario is getting hit with severe weather today, with possible snowfall amounts of 15-25 cm, and rainfall in some areas of up to 4″. The year 2023 was the warmest on record for Canada, with weather projections of 2024 being even warmer!.
